Life in Nusa Dua

Aug 11, 2014

YESSS IM BACK! It has been weeks since my last post although it feels like months. I got back from my oversees trip July 27th and got super sick. I have no clue exactly what I had because I refused to go to the doctor, but I think it was something along the lines of the flu. Needless to say I was in bed all week. I wanted to post, but my brain wasn't functioning properly so I just decided to take a break until I was back at 100%. Well, now I'm back and better than ever and won't be leaving any time soon. I hope you are prepared for lots of travel posts!

Our next stop is the breathtaking island of Bali, Indonesia. We only spent 4 days there, but it was 4 days of pure bliss. I wish we could have stayed longer. Seriously, I didn't want to leave. Sometimes after I visit a new place I feel like I've seen everything that needs to be seen and I do not really have the urge to go back right away. This was not the case with Bali. Half the time I just wanted to relax and enjoy the beautiful hotels and beaches, but there was so much to see around the island. From temples to rice fields to monkey forests, we simply did not have time to do it all. I hope I can return to this treasure destination sometime soon, but for now I'll relive the moments through the hundreds of pictures we took during our stay.

When my sister and I travel we have a tendency to always stay at multiple hotels. While in Bali we stayed at a different hotel every night, each one being completely different with its own ambiance and theme. Bali has so many amazing hotels that you really cannot go wrong with whichever you choose. Our first hotel was the Courtyard Bali Marriott located in Nusa Dua. I was not expecting to be so amazed with the place. Everything from the welcome drinks to the accommodations to the food was just amazing. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway retreat that is family friendly and budget friendly, I definitely recommend this hotel.
