I'm leaving tomorrow for Oregon, and of course I still have a million things to do. I don't know why I always put off everything until the last minute. I haven't packed, I need to get my eyebrows waxed, and my toenails are crying for some attention. O the joys of procrastination. Everything will get done . It always does. How late I'll to have to stay up to get it all done is another story. I am so excited to be going back to Oregon though. I've been there every year for the past four years and its beauty never ceases to amaze me. I always find something new to love about the state every time I visit.
The only downside to Oregon is the rain. It can be miserable trying to compete with rain drops blurring your vision, but when the sun comes out its like a state of perfection. The perfect temperature. The perfect amount of breeze. The perfect scenery. Everything is just pure bliss and I just love that feeling.
Oh and one of the best things about this trip is that we get to wear whatever we want to the airport! In the past we have always worn a uniform polo shirt so everyone looks the same. I liked not having to worry out about picking out an outfit the night before, but now I can safely say that I am so happy to where the clothes in my closet. I've been going through outfit choices in my head trying to pick something that's causal, comfortable, and chic. So no heels, but I don't really want to wear ballerina flats either. I want to start challenging myself and taking risks, that will start with wearing pieces that I wouldn't normally put together. Of course a blog post documenting my final decision is a must so be sure to look out for that on Monday. I'll leave you with some pictures from my day at Sno Beach because let's face it: any day with sunshine, snow-cones, and good company is a good day.
